This video introduces the concept, development, and clinical potential of LIGŌ as a transformative tool for regenerative medicine. Designed for operating room use, LIGŌ enables spatially controlled delivery of bioinks to support wound healing and soft tissue regeneration in cases such as trauma, burns, and post-operative reconstruction. LIGO eliminates the need to print in vitro and then transplant. Instead, it brings the biofabrication process directly to the patient—bridging the gap between lab-based engineering and real-world clinical care. The system supports sterile, reproducible workflows and is engineered to meet the practical needs of clinicians and surgical teams. Backed by two successive grants from the NSW Health Medical Devices Fund, LIGŌ is moving toward clinical trials with strong support from Inventia’s research and clinical collaborators, including Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
